This role acts as the point of escalation for Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, ensuring streamlined operations and timely cash flow across both the UK and European operations.Working closely with two AR Administrators, internal teams, and external stakeholders, the Senior Accounts Receivable ensures efficient query resolution, accurate financial reporting, and process enhancements that support MM Flowers ongoing growth and finance transformation initiatives.Core Responsibilities:Oversee the customer invoice to cash collection process to ensure payments are received on time.Resolve customer invoice queries promptly and with professionalism to minimise payment delays.Act as a second line of support for two AR Administrators (UK and Europe), providing expertise and escalation as needed.Maintain a clean Aged Receivables Ledger by driving regular reviews and resolving outstanding balances.Perform daily cash management activities, ensuring bank reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule.Manage banking responsibilities, including ad-hoc payments and cash processing.Prepare and manage weekly cash flow forecasts and group balance reports, aligning with organisational requirements.Work closely with the Financial Controller to highlight key trends and areas for action.Support asset finance management activities, ensuring alignment with company policies and timelines.Identify and implement process improvements, driving automation and alignment with best practices.Support ongoing Finance Systems Transformation projects, specifically around SAP Business by Design or S/4 HANA.Drive continuous improvements in AR processes by identifying and implementing automation and system enhancements.Essential skills & experience:Proven experience in finance operations, specifically within Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger roles.Familiarity with sales and/or purchase ledger functions, demonstrating strong transactional finance knowledge.Proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyse and interpret data for effective reporting.Ability to act as a key collaborator and communicator with both finance and non-financial stakeholders.Desirable skills & experience:Background or understanding of SAP Business by Design, S/4 HANA, or similar ERP systems.Experience in the consumer goods or manufacturing sectors.Exposure to finance system transformation projects, including process automation and development improvements.So, whats the package?
