Job Title: Cell Lead Electro-Mechanical TestingLocation: Sunbury-on-ThamesSalary: Available on request please contact us to discussAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Cell Lead to join our clients Operations team based in Sunbury-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional from an aerospace electro-mechanical testing environment who is looking to step into a leadership role or continue developing their team management skills.In this role, you will lead a team within a shared services test cell, overseeing the testing of complex electro-mechanical systems, managing workflow and ensuring targets for quality, safety and delivery are consistently met.Key Responsibilities:Plan, schedule and manage work within the test cell to meet the operational plan.Oversee the testing of electro-mechanical aerospace components, including calibration of chambers and test rigs.Lead, mentor and develop a skilled team of technicians and engineers, conducting regular performance reviews and training.Maintain and manage the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) database and generate comprehensive test reports.Drive Lean manufacturing practices, including 5S and structured problem-solving activities.Ensure compliance with all health 'safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Requirements:Proven experience in electro-mechanical testing within the aerospace industry (essential).Background in a test house or production environment with leadership or senior-level responsibility.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g. 5S, 6S, continuous improvement).Strong hands-on technical skills in test rig operations, product calibration and fault investigation.Confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Eligibility Requirement: Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.Must have the right to work in the UK please note we are unable to accept spousal visas.Benefits25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)Private healthcareAny many other additional employee perksHow to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria and are ready to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.
