About Us Dukes Meadows Golf, Tennis & Ski is a premier multi-sports facility in Chiswick, West London, offering first-class golf, tennis, ski, and fitness experiences. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our operations and elevate our reputation as a leading destination for sports and leisure. The Role As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the facilitys operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and financial performance. You will collaborate with the Heads of Departments, including Golf, Tennis, Ski and Cafe/Kitchen operations, to drive a cohesive and high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on facility management expertise. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the site, including golf, tennis, ski, gym and cafe services. Manage the cafe / kitchen and maintenance teams. Collaborate with Heads of Departments to ensure seamless operations and consistent guest experiences. Manage and monitor profit and loss (P&L) statements, ensuring financial targets are met. Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Drive operational improvements, focusing on customer satisfaction, staff performance, and facility maintenance. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, membership growth, and community engagement. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across the facility. Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a General Manager or Facility Manager in a sports facility (e.g. golf or tennis club, leisure centre, gym etc). Strong facility management experience, including managing maintenance, operations, and supplier relationships. Demonstrated expertise in managing P&L statements and financial performance. Experience running payroll and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to work flexibly, including weekend shifts twice a month (time to be taken in lieu). Passion for golf, tennis or sports, with a customer-focused mindset.
