They are now seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager, RAW MATERIALS to help them further building the future of food. You will be based in Milton Keynes and will report to Head of Sourcing in Mlndal, Sweden. You will be part of a great and professional Sourcing community with people based in their locations across Europe. In this role as Associate Sourcing Manager, RAW MATERIALS you will have the opportunity to be responsible for driving and executing sourcing activities based on category strategy, policies, and market requirements. You will contribute on the development of sourcing category strategy and lead supplier selections, which includes negotiation of supplier contracts and manage supplier relationships. What you will do Contribute to the development of category strategy and lead supplier selection, relationship, negotiation in line with accepted strategy and policies and practices and sustainability guidelines. Continuously evaluate suppliers performance based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, sustainability, and flexibility. Support the Sourcing Team with reports and system updates. Participate and lead actively local product development projects together with Portfolio Managers and Suppliers Work with relevant stakeholders: Brand & Portfolio, Sales, Supply Planning, After Sales and R&D to meet category objectives. Monitor & benchmark market trends and best practices. Identify, realize, and track saving opportunities and initiatives. What they expect from you You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look like this: University degree with major in economics, engineering, or similar Experience in sourcing in an international environment is an advantage Analytical skills and mindset To enjoy this role, you need to be a team player with a positive and energetic can-do attitude, capability for building partnerships, and at the same time ability to work independently Ability to be analytical yet convey complex statistical models and market dynamics in a common-sense language.
