Multi-skilled Maintenance EngineerMarch areaMonday to Friday day shift£48kMy client who are an award winning, nationally recognised food manufacturer are seeking a Day Shift Multi Skilled Engineer to join their large engineering team.It is an ideal role for a multi-skilled / electrical engineer with a passion for improvements and improving reliability in a factory setting.Typical responsibilities include –* Maintain and enhance the performance of plant and equipment (both reactive and PPM)* Establishing root cause analysis (RCA) throughout the factory* Both short and long term fixes across all breakdowns* Planned Preventive maintenance, complete all allocated P.M.’s in the set time frame* Providing a high quality engineering service to both engineering and production teams* Ensure engineering downtime is accurately logged, monitor repair times, and find new methods / procedures to reduce theseThe ideal candidate will be –* An engineer with a background in the food, FMCG or manufacturing industry, with good experience of carrying out PPMs* Ideally multiskilled (electrical bias preferential)* Strong mechanical understanding and appreciation* A passion for reliability / improvements.
