Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives who have special needs and need someone to be their voice?Teaching Personnel is offering a number of flexible teaching assistant roles which allows you to tailor work into your schedule as we provide full-time and part-time work. We support children at primary and secondary level, so there is wide range of ages to support.We’re looking for someone who is confident with de-escalating challenging behaviour and possess strong behaviour management skills, able to work in different provisions and are highly reliable. Most Importantly this role requires you to be empathetic and patient as this is what these children need as the children have mental health issues or special needs, requiring s special person to help them through life!About the role:Start: Roles begin after the Easter break from the 22nd of April till the end of the academic year Small class: Sizes of 8-10, which creates strong relationships with the students Teaching Assistant role: Sometimes 1:1 with the students, but generally you will support multiple children at a time.
