Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician / Maintenance Plumber Location: Durham County Salary: £14.50 – £15.20 per hourAbout the Role: We are currently seeking a Water Hygiene Technician / Maintenance Plumber to join our maintenance team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional new minor installation works. You’ll play a key part in helping us maintain a hassle-free and compliant environment across multiple sites.What You'll Be Doing:*Carrying out monitoring and maintenance of building water services in line with Legionella Control regulations (ACoP L8 and HSG 274)*Performing temperature testing, TMV inspections, cold and hot water storage inspections, water sampling, showerhead disinfections, risk assessment reviews, and logbook audits*Completing plumbing repairs, alterations, and installation works on domestic hot and cold water systems*Travelling between multiple sites as part of your daily duties*Using a PDA and web-based logbook system for inspections and record keeping*Supporting other water hygiene tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, and remediation worksWhat We're Looking For:*Strong knowledge of heating and water systems*Ability to work independently and efficiently*Willingness to tra...
