PE Teacher – SEN School (Permanent)Location: Okehampton, Devon Start Date: September 2025Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 per annum (MPS/UPS) + SEN AllowanceAbout the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable PE Teacher to deliver engaging physical education lessons tailored to students with a range of special educational needs. You'll be working within a well-resourced, inclusive environment that places student development and well-being at its heart.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver differentiated PE lessons that meet the needs of students with diverse abilities and needs. Support the physical, social, and emotional development of pupils through inclusive sports and fitness activities. Collaborate with SEN staff, therapists, and families to create a consistent and supportive learning experience. Promote an active lifestyle and encourage participation and confidence through physical education. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential) Experience teaching PE, ideally with exposure to SEN environments (though not essential). A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning. Strong classroom management and excellent interpersonal skills.
