An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist for 19 hours/week. The role is split 50:50 between outpatient and inpatients which is mostly orthopaedic. It will include 1 evening shift to 8pm, 1 Saturday shift a month and participation in our weekend rota. You will be working within a team of highly experienced physiotherapists.If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.The successful candidate must have a suitable level of previous MSK outpatient and orthopaedic experience, good time management skills and good communication skills. The candidate will be expected to work independently without direct supervision and will need to be self-sufficient.You must be HCPC and CSP registered and the role is site-based, so you will need to attend our site.RequirementsKnowledge:Diploma / BSc Degree in PhysiotherapyHCPC / CSP RegisteredMinimum 3 years post-graduateRecently updated appropriate post-graduate course attendance; desirableExperience:Significant post qualification clinical experience in musculoskeletal techniquesEvidence of post graduate studyOrthopaedic, general surgery, respiratory experienceInvolvement in audit research and understanding quality issues; desirableExperience of treating acute respiratory patients; desirableSkills:Able to present information, written and orally, in a clear, concise and logical mannerAbility to organise, prioritise and delegateGood interpersonal skills and ability to deal sensitively with patients and liaise effectively with medical and other staffThe ability to remain calm and detached under pressureHours: 19 a week
