Electrician Job Type: Temporary (with the possibility of extension) Location: Bolton Hourly Pay Rate: £15.58 - £17.29 per hour Working Hours: 8am – 4pm Job Summary To maintain and review street lighting, illuminated road signs and bollards and associated electrical works in accordance with specifications / documentation. Requirements * Carry out maintenance and construction work on public electrical apparatus relating to the highway. * Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and all statutory obligations relevant to projects assigned, including adhering to BS 7671 IEE Regulation for electrical installations. * Understand, maintain and complete all documentation as required by the specification. * Assist in ensuring full compliance with procedures relating to the Operator Licence for vehicles and plant assigned to the role. * Work at heights from hydraulic platforms, ladders or scaffold at heights up to 15 metres. * Drive / operate vehicles, plant and equipment associated with the role and carry out relevant maintenance. * Be self-motivated to work alone or as part of a team, to assist in the maximum utilisation of street lighting equipment, plant and materials, to provide a cost effective best value service. * Develop the work related skills of yourself and other team members.
