Both of these roles require a flexible and resiliant attitude. As a behaviour support assistant you will likely be working with a specific child with whom you will develop and maintain an effective and supportive relationship, promoting emotional wellbeing and identifying triggers. You will provide academic support, recording progress and reporting to the teacher.RequirementsTo be a successfull Behaviour Support Assistant position, you will:Have experience working with either with small groups or 1:1 with pupils who may demonstrate challenging behaviour and who may have Special Educational Needs. Be able to provide a safe and positive learning environment and de-escalate any threatening or aggressive behaviour.
