If so, then a career with STERIS Instrument Processing would be a great fit for you.Working PatternFull-time permanent shift on Monday-Friday, 37.5 hrs per week on rotating pattern:Week 1: 6:00-14:00Week 2: 14:00-22:0001 in 3 Saturday-Sunday at 8:00-16:00.What is involved?Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards. Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards. Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively. Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak). Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person.What is in it for you?An annual salary of £24,169.00 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours!
