Role OverviewOur Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. About the RoleAs a Tesco Customer Delivery Driver, you'll deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, engaging with customers in their homes daily. The role involves more than driving; it's about providing excellent service with a smile, helping customers, and handling a variety of delivery tasks. Keep the delivery area tidy and free of rubbish. Wash trays as required. Load the van and check its roadworthiness. Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds. Handle products with care and deliver within the scheduled time slot. Contact customers if early or if running late. RequirementsBuild positive relationships with colleagues and customers. Be friendly, welcoming, and responsive to customer needs. Adapt quickly to changing customer needs and store policies. Be energetic and motivated to exceed expectations. Share ideas for store improvement. Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
