We will schedule your shifts within your availability windows and provide 3 weeks’ notice of your schedule. We support flexible working; if your availability closely matches but does not exactly align with our advertised times, we’d still love to hear from you. Customer Focus As the face of Tesco on the road, you’ll deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, meeting customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving: helping others and providing excellent service with a smile are key. This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and customers seek help in many ways. You’ll feel independent, delivering to customers, with support from managers and colleagues back at base. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the van and trays. Ensuring the delivery area is tidy and litter-free. Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness. Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions, offering refunds if needed. Handling products with care and delivering within the scheduled time slots. Calling customers before early arrivals and informing the store if running late. RequirementsA valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points. Ability to build good relationships with colleagues and customers. Friendly, welcoming, and adaptable to customer needs. Ability to respond quickly to changing customer requirements and embrace change. Energetic, driven, and able to balance work and personal life.
