Despatch Operator (Evening Shift)Job Ref No: WS/DOES/04/25 The Role:Supply production with packaging, intermediate product, pallets, and ingredients as required, ensuring routine operations are not disrupted; Maintain stock rotation and reconcile ingredients & packaging; Ensure periodic completion of cleaning schedules for the warehouse, despatch area, weighbridge, and loading yard; Conduct twice-monthly physical stock takes of packaging & finished goods and submit reports promptly to admin; Store raw materials, packaging stock, added value ingredients, and allergens according to BRC standards; Load and unload lorries for dispatched and received goods. The Person:Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role; Experience in stock taking, packaging, ingredients & finished goods, and variance adjustments; High proficiency in written and spoken English; Good administrative and IT skills; Understanding of health and safety legislation. Preference will be given to candidates with: At least 1 year of fork truck experience with valid licences (Counter Balance, Reach, and Pallet Truck); A shunter licence. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
