Job ResponsibilitiesOperate folding machines to achieve required quality levels and output volumes. Role ResponsibilitiesSet folding equipment, including feeder, transfer, print detection/pharmacode readers, folding section counter, and delivery. Obtain approval and operate the machine to ensure quality standards, customer specifications, and output speed are met. Set and operate ancillary equipment such as material handling devices, counting, banding, labelling, and shrink-wrapping equipment. Maintain compliance with the Company’s Quality Assurance procedures, including line clearance and in-process inspection documentation. Ensure safe and efficient operation through regular maintenance as per manufacturer instructions and Works Instructions. Change guillotine knives and perform adjustments to maintain performance. Complete and document daily/weekly machine guard checks according to departmental procedures. Provide training to apprentices/trainees on equipment controls and folding machine operation principles. Immediately report printing, cutting, folding faults, or any issues affecting quality or customer specifications to the Shift Co-ordinator or QA Department. Skills, Experience, and QualificationsSkillsUnderstanding of the folding process Basic computer literacy Ability to operate Polar 92 Guillotine Experience with producing parallel and cross-folds Experience in pharmaceutical folding Hours of work: 06:00 am - 13:25 pm / 13:20 - 21:00 rotating weekly.#J-18808-Ljbffr
