Job Title: Retail SupervisorDeichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our team at the Folkestone store. Purpose:To support the store management team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to customers. Compensation:Up to £12.64 per hour plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission. This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 16 hours per week. Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment. Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager. Open and close the store, including cashing up and completing administrative duties. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge. Promote and recommend complementary products with each sale. Assist management in achieving store sales targets and KPIs. Support team members as needed. Ensure the store is well-merchandised, with attractive and refreshed product displays. Manage stock deliveries and store transfers. Handle customer queries and complaints. Personal Characteristics:Ability to follow management instructions regarding additional tasks. Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking. Self-motivated with a positive attitude. Ability to motivate, coach, and work effectively with a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to serve all customers. Drive to exceed monthly performance targets. Methodical in completing daily tasks, including stock SKU management. High attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Flexible to work any day from Monday to Sunday, totaling 16 hours per week.
