We Are HiringDepartment:Operating Room Schedule:Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm or 10:00am-6:30pm. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations Hospital:UAB St. Vincent's East Location:Birmingham, AL PCT experience strongly preferred! What You Will DoPerform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, including: Aiding with movement and placement of patients Transporting patients throughout the hospital Turning over operating rooms between cases Terminally cleaning operating rooms Assisting with patient preparation for surgery, including positioning, sterile limb holding, and table assembly What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience Note: Professional licensure/certification can substitute for education or experience if applicable Additional PreferencesNo additional preferences.
