We are looking for a payroll professional who is customer-obsessed and eager to elevate the payroll experience to support our rapidly growing company. We encourage continuous process improvement and innovative solutions for our internal customers. Responsibilities: Manage and be fully accountable for the payroll processing cycle for a specific country or company based on size and complexity. Handle payroll balances and controls at input and output stages (Source to Gross, Gross to Net). Provide payroll accounting support. Resolve complex payroll queries and escalations. Manage vendor operations. Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders such as Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury, etc. Participate in projects like process improvement (Six Sigma), country expansions, and new payroll setups. Opportunities for growth: Contribute to process improvements with the Operational Excellence team. Advance your career through Payroll Academy and other training programs. Initiate and lead your own “Just Do It” projects. Compensation and benefits: Base salary starts from EUR 1,700+ gross per month, with additional components such as a sign-on bonus and eligibility for Amazon’s restricted stock unit scheme. Benefits include medical care, life insurance, retirement pension, meal vouchers, and career development opportunities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience in payroll processes. Proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of controllership/statutory compliance (tax, labor law, social security, garnishments, pensions, benefits, terminations, RSUs, expatriate payroll). Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and statistical skills. Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data for fact-based decision making. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with projects. Ability to collaborate across teams.
