As a Buyer, you will be responsible for a range of procurement activities, including materials, commodities, and services, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality. The Role:Following up with suppliers Expediting purchase orders Managing purchase order confirmations Invoice reconciliation Contacting vendors regarding discrepancies Updating the team and stakeholders about delays or issues Stock control and buying reports Researching new products and suppliers Negotiating contracts with suppliers Presenting cost analyses Maintaining records of supplier contracts Staying updated with industry and market trends Maintaining strong vendor relationships Remaining calm in stressful situations Participating in personal development and training (CIPS) Performing any other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager Skills and Experience:Purchasing or Supply Chain qualification or working towards it Experience in a buying or procurement role Manufacturing environment experience (beneficial) Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Fully on-site role If you are interested and possess the relevant skills and experience, please apply via the provided link.
