Plus, you’ll be part of an inclusive workplace where you can be your best and most authentic self.Please note that you need to be 18 or over to apply for this role.About the role As a Team Leader, you will:Ensure smooth operations by maintaining standards for safety and quality.Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.Lead by example by providing excellent customer experiences.Open and close the café and oversee operations in the Manager’s absence.Recognize and celebrate team members for excellent service.Learn our menu thoroughly and assist the team in doing the same.Drive sales by ensuring optimal staffing and customer engagement.Deliver health and safety, as well as food safety training to team members.Support the Café Manager with coaching and development of colleagues.Continuously seek ways to improve customer service.Create an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected, valued, and safe.Requirements You will need:Experience in hospitality, with Team/Shift Leader experience preferred.A passion for excellent customer service.Knowledge of health 'safety and food safety standards.Personal skills:Effective communication skills.Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.Confidence to use initiative to improve processes.What’s in it for you?
