Considerate Group is seeking a dynamic and versatile Senior Manager, Data Partnerships to co-lead the delivery and commercial growth of Con-Serve, our flagship sustainability data platform built specifically for the hospitality sector, together with a related suite of technical advisory services. The successful applicant will have a technical background, layered with commercial awareness and team management skills. Working alongside an established Senior Manager, with a technical skillset, you will cultivate strategic client and commercial relationships and support proposals. This role is pivotal in delivering a commercial edge to drive our recurring revenue through a subscription-based SaaS offering, together with managing and developing technical projects related to carbon reporting, energy assessments, decarbonisation strategies, and more. Together, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of data projects—from designing reproducible data pipelines to providing high-quality client support and strategic guidance. In addition, you will manage and mentor members of the Data team, ensuring effective team collaboration and process excellence. This includes, but is not limited to, developing holistic ESG strategies, delivering workshops and professional seminars, creating sustainability toolkits, and corporate sustainability reporting. Responsibilities Data Platform & Technical Delivery Serve as the commercial lead for client accounts, providing support for onboarding, troubleshooting, and data assurance in line with ISO standards. Oversee the end-to-end delivery and continuous enhancement of Con-Serve, ensuring robust and reproducible data pipelines for internal and client-facing reporting (using R and GitHub Actions). Advisory Projects & Client Engagement Act as a senior point of contact for clients, responding to technical queries and troubleshooting issues timely and accurately. Manage and deliver a portfolio of technical and sustainability advisory projects, including carbon reporting, SECR/ESOS/SBTi initiatives, energy assessments, decarbonisation/net zero, and capex planning for hospitality clients, supported by Considerate’s broader team. Oversee preparation of professionally presented bespoke reports with clear and concise recommendations. Ensure quality-assurance and review deliverables. Understanding of Considerate’s broader business proposition and portfolio of services. Drive business development efforts by contributing to proposal writing and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings. Commercial Delivery Contribute to revenue targets through proposals, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling. Maintaining product’s profit margins, improve and develop pricing strategy as needed Monitor product’s performance against targets and develop strategy for improvement Provide strategic guidance and actionable insights to clients, aligning technical data outputs with broader sustainability and financial objectives. Apply commercial acumen to assess sustainability investments for client projects, ensuring clear ROI and alignment with strategic goals. Team & Process Management Co-lead and mentor the day-to-day activities of a small team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Develop and refine internal processes for project management, client relationship management, and technical partnerships. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with technical partners, technology vendors and industry bodies to support the platform’s evolution and market growth. Additional Leadership & Growth Initiative Leverage international market insights in the real estate and hospitality landscape, including scientific and industry developments (as well as political, legislative, market and voluntary market developments) to identify emerging trends and opportunities in sustainability, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge. Provide support to the scoping of strategic projects and solutions for clients, including development of new solutions and services. Carry out sustainability related research, both internally and externally. Support change management, and process and product development initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation. Matrix management of team members using traditional and agile project management practices to ensure smooth project delivery. Lead by example in the regular and dedicated use of internal systems and processes. Requirements A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, data analytics, or a related field. Proven experience (4+years) in sustainability data management, technical project leadership, and client engagement within a consultancy environment. Demonstrated expertise in delivering non-financial reporting including carbon reporting, energy assessments, and other sustainability advisory projects (e.g. using SECR/ESOS/SBTi/GHG Protocol frameworks). Ability to identify, cultivate, and leverage partnerships with technology vendors and industry bodies. Excellent analytical and data story telling skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex technical data into clear, actionable insights through effective presentation and communication of complex data. Capability to perform cost–benefit analyses for client projects, ensuring clear ROI on sustainability initiatives. Effective leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting. Strong commercial acumen and highly customer service orientated. Demonstrated passion for ESG, sustainability, and tourism. Fluency in English. Proficiency in a second language, with German and/or French highly desirable. Strong proficiency in Excel and R programming, using data support tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and a fundamental understanding of data transfer protocols (HTTP, APIs, FTP) with a track record of building reproducible data pipelines. Direct experience working in real estate or in hospitalityoperations and/or management Familiarity with agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration and project efficiency. Strong understanding of data assurance processes aligned with ISO standards and sustainability data requirements for the sector (e.g. EU CSRD, SASB, ISSB, GRESB, BREEAM). Proven experience in leading diverse teams across technical and commercial functions. Experience in guiding organisations through process improvements and digital transformation initiatives. Strong presentation and workshop delivery skills; able to present ideas in a proficient manner suited to different settings and a variety of audiences. A keen awareness of global sustainability trends, regulatory environments, and market dynamics to drive strategic innovation.
