Our staff are committed to Our Values: Learning to Improve, Caring, Inclusive, Collaborative – which drive everything we do.About the roleWe require a part-time Caretaker for 4 hours per day (2:30pm – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday) to oversee three Children’s Centre sites (Parkfield, Hyde, and Childs Hill).The successful candidate will be responsible for locking the buildings as required.The buildings are accessed by children and families daily, so you will work as part of a team that promotes an environment safeguarding and protecting children.You will work within a large and diverse team supporting the professional objectives of the locality.You will ensure grounds and buildings are maintained and promote safe working practices in line with current Health & Safety standards.Salary is pro-rata – actual salary would be £16,535 - £17,263.Pleaseclick hereto download the Job description for this role.About you You will have previous caretaking experience, with good knowledge of health and safety at work, grounds and building maintenance, and the ability to operate domestic appliances and light industrial equipment.You will have experience undertaking risk assessments, working under pressure, prioritizing workloads, and managing contractors on site.
