We are a supportive, close-knit team focused on providing the best care to our patients, and we welcome applicants with experience in Stroke Medicine from GIM, Stroke, or Neurology backgrounds.The successful candidate will work closely with the current team to enhance stroke pathways and improve SSNAP performance, prioritizing patient and family care.Location The Stroke/Neurology team is based in the Betjeman Centre at GWH, which includes outpatient clinics, a day hospital, therapy centre, and office space. There is also an on-site rehabilitation service provided by SWICC.Main DutiesParticipate in multidisciplinary team working and regular discussionsProvide evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary settingManage patient care responsibilities, including administrative duties (with secretarial support)Develop subspecialty interests aligned with division needsContribute to teaching, examinations, and medical education activitiesCover for colleagues' leave as per Trust policiesEngage in clinical audit and continuing medical educationParticipate in out-of-hours rota as detailed in the job planAbout Us Our STAR values—Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Respect—are central to our culture and patient care.
