YOUR MISSIONTo thrive as a Finance Assistant at our company, you'll need to bring a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work. You should be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, even when working to tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be collaborating with both finance colleagues and cross-functional teams. We're looking for someone proactive and adaptable — someone who’s eager to pitch in wherever needed and takes initiative without waiting to be asked. You'll also need an analytical mindset to spot discrepancies and suggest improvements, and above all, a hunger to grow and learn as you take the next steps in your finance career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain accurate financial records, including posting journal entries and performing reconciliationsAssist with the preparation of monthly and yearly financial accountsSupport the finance team with intercompany reconciliations and rechargesSupport the finance team with balance sheet reconciliations and maintain appropriate documentationAssist in tracking and monitoring budgets, expenses, and cost allocationsCommunicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholdersAssist with financial audits by organizing and providing necessary documentationContribute to the improvement of financial processes and systemsSupport Finance Business Partner’s on ad-hoc projectsSupporting AP & AR around billing & processing of invoicesProvide general administrative support to the finance department as neededKEY REQUIREMENTSA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Strong numerical skillsBONUS POINTSPrior experience in a finance or accounting roleUnderstanding of financial principlesStudying towards or interested in a professional finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA)WHY THIS MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOUThe Financial Reporting team at Carwow moves quickly, holds itself to high standards, and is always looking for ways to improve how we work.
