In this role, you will be responsible for managing the team’s tasks and assignments, ensuring employees perform their duties effectively. A key aspect of this role is overseeing the efficient and effective performance of job duties. The position works on a Mon-Fri shift from 8am to 4:30pm. About the role: Supervising, guiding, and motivating a warehouse team, overseeing daily operations, and monitoring staff productivity. Providing a safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety and Environmental procedures, and ensuring compliance. Completing management reports daily. Achieving productivity levels aligned with KPIs. Ensuring team compliance with correct processes and quality standards. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping. Providing support to other departments when required. Assigning tasks and troubleshooting issues. Communicating effectively with internal and external customers. Coaching and mentoring senior operatives and team leads. Your Key Skills: Previous experience as an Operations Supervisor in a warehouse environment is essential. Numerate with strong communication skills (spoken and written). Team player with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations. Strong people and performance management skills. Ability to monitor staff performance and costs, including time-keeping, quality, and productivity.
