Our customers dream big, achieve goals, and aim for perfection. So do we, and so do our clothes. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the growing Ecommerce team. The Ecommerce Trading Manager will be pivotal to executing the business strategy and trade plans, reaching business goals, and delivering game-changer projects. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce UK/EU, you will work closely with key stakeholders such as Digital Marketing, CRM, Content, Client services, Finance, Logistics as well as Buying & Merchandising teams. Being data driven in your approach and understand the digital customer are a must. You will be responsible for analyzing the key metrics across sales, conversion, AOV, returns and conversion to drive your decision making and reach targets. In addition to managing and trading the websites, you’ll mentor and coach your team made of 2 direct reports. Trading Own and develop the local ecommerce trading calendar, collaborating across multiple teams and touchpoints to align on objectives and ensure consistency of message. Deliver the strategic direction for upcoming campaigns, promotions, and new product launches. Develop the weekly, monthly, and seasonal trade plans in-line with revenue, margins, and commercial ambitions. Lead trade meetings to review performance as well as looking ahead, identifying commercial opportunities to leverage growth and deliver sales targets. Monitor and react to performance, driving initiatives to increase conversion and KPIs. Lead post-campaigns analysis and draw out insights & recommendations for future Manage weekly and monthly forecasting of sales KPIs, for Finance and Global BI teams. Hold regular meetings with each key stakeholder and be in alignment with Global team to develop a clear action plan to maximise local ecommerce performance. Work closely with the digital, CRM and customer care teams to align business planning. Plan monthly email campaigns in collaborations with the DMK team to ensure alignment with promotional calendar, to support key messaging and to meet commercial targets for that channel. Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising on range availability and to identify product opportunities to support traffic driving activities, with a focus on improving CVR and profitability. Responsible for managing the site architecture and maintaining the site taxonomy to achieve better conversion rates and KPIs online. Mentor and support the team to deliver best-in-class execution of all onsite activity. Support Client Services with sales analysis and insights to direct attention to opportunities. Content Create and plan a detailed content UKEU strategy that aligns Global campaigns with regional business goals. Coordinate and brief all content related requests, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality output for strong audience interaction and reach. Collaborate with the Global Creative team to guarantee all content is delivered on time. Overseeing campaign and product management in collaboration with the E-commerce Trading and Merchandising Coordinator, ensuring site content, and new products are published on time. Product management & projects Drive the website roadmap across all European sites. Partner with global product managers to ensure local development requirements are considered and understood; so that initiatives meet both business objectives and European customer expectations. Identify and communicate bugs, and test, feedback on, and validate all resolved tickets. Manage our return portal: build relationship, organize QBR, build out returns and shipping rules in collaboration with Customer services. Implement transformation projects such as online exchanges, last mile delivery proposition and other business development opportunities to support growth. Managing ecommerce projects roll out throughout the UK & EU markets, perfecting the client experience and performance. Adding best in class services and personalization for high value clients. Implement and manage omnichannel projects to support Theory’s footprint expansion in collaboration with Customer care and Retail ops teams. Key skills and experience required Demonstrable experience within an online retail environment, preferably within the premium or luxury fashion retail industry. Passionate about fashion, digital and innovation. Entrepreneurial, results driven, self-driven, strong communication, proactive, and innovative. Data driven to support decision making and clear understanding of the importance of customer journey planning. Expert on how to measure an e-commerce business, ability to synthesizing actionable insights. Obsessed with customers, creative and innovative, always looks for creative ways to generate new sales or to improve current activities. Demonstrable communication skills, able to effectively anticipate and respond to needs and requirements at all levels. Experience of leading site merchandising, always looking to drive the maximum conversion through the tools at your disposal. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish professional working relationships with both internal & external contacts. Strong reporting background - from weekly top-line reporting, to in-depth campaign analysis. Pro-active, highly organized, able to work to tight deadlines and have excellent attention to detail. Analytical and commercially minded; methodical and high attention to detail Demonstrable leadership skills, able to engage, motivate and inspire tea. Collaborative, able to understand and interpret needs to drive results. Methodical and measured, able to rationalize and plan responses to data in accordance with business needs and team capacity.
