Our client, a specialist Fine Art & Antiques Shipping Company based in South London, is seeking to appoint an experienced Fine Art Packer. As the Fine Art Packer, you will handle and pack various types of fine art and secure them in trucks for safe transport. You will also prepare condition reports, take photographs of artworks, and pick up/deliver a variety of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and high-value furniture. Duties of the Fine Art Packer: Install and de-install various fine art and furniture Inspect artworks to determine packing and handling requirements for transport Install artworks professionally in settings ranging from corporate to residential properties Interact with art professionals and collectors Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, labeling, timesheets, and detailed condition reports with photos The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in moving or fine art, be familiar with basic art terminology, and be capable of efficiently wrapping, packing, loading, and securing artworks within a truck to ensure safety during transit. We are eager to speak with highly motivated candidates who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as you will be coordinating with the operations team throughout the day.
