Base pay rangeJob Title:Mobile Maintenance Electrician (AST)Location:Croydon / South LondonContract Type: PermanentHours:40 Hours Per WeekSalary:Total package up to £43,753 (Inclusive of 15% LWA + Standby Payment (1:4 x 13 Periods). Overtime + Travel Time paid at additional rates!) An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular store visits to complete reactive, PPMs, and minor repairs (including non-electrical). Key Responsibilities:Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. Perform general repairs and maintenance to customer sites as designated by City Management (e.g., door repairs, plumbing, flooring). Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance. Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacement. Qualifications / Experience:Essential NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition. AM2 / 2391. The ideal candidate: Full driving license. Experience using a PDA system. Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g., ovens, dishwashers, microwaves.
