A member of the Procurement leadership team, you will head the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) strategy with regards to Procurement activity within the Group. This will include ownership and management of the Third-Party Risk Management Framework – development and deployment of tools, techniques, reporting, and processes to support the team and wider business. Responsible for the management of supplier risk oversight activities in alignment with the Procurement’s policies and procedures – taking accountability and oversight of compliance, training, and education. You will be a subject matter expert on third party risk topics and delivery in supporting the business across a senior colleague network. What you will be doing: Ownership and ongoing maintenance of TPRM strategy. To ensure our end-to-end processes deliver an effective TPRM proposition to Enstar Works closely with and delegates effectively to the Supplier Risk Manager in creating a program of work and prioritisation to support both Procurement and business needs Overall leadership of risk management activities throughout the procurement lifecycle and provides oversight of risk appetite management in Sourcing activities (to include contractual, financial and reputational risk oversight). Working with Compliance, lead the approach to adopt applicable regulation (global) and how this deploys across our policies, processes, MI and reporting under the TPRM umbrella. Ownership of applicable regulatory reporting requirements (with support from the wider team) Leads Procurement’s Compliance stakeholder engagement (e.g. Compliance monthly meeting / Horizon Scanning). This includes driving the Critical Vendor Oversight program (or alternative reporting) and onward improvement of this process. Leads the development of internal practices, ensuring alignment with business needs through collaboration with Group Risk, Information Security, IT, Compliance, and Legal. Drives effective supplier risk performance. Development and implementation of the team approach to supply chain and fourth-party risk profiling Support the maturing of the risk management, systems, and tooling to enable data-driven insights and oversight of Procurement and third-party risks, recommending best practice to improve processes Owns the risk oversight and inputs to supplier onboarding and team due-diligence processes Is an SME on supplier risk matters and deliver supplier risk education to the Service Owners specific to their day-to-day supplier risk management activities Lead the annual review and monitoring of the Vendor Code of Conduct. Provides input to the maintenance of other Procurement policies, Controls, Risk Metrics and KPIs. To lead the facilitation of the Outsourcing and Material Supplier Approval governance process. To include preparation of materials (taking input from the sourcing team) including periodic update of OMSA dashboard. Support to weekly, monthly and quarterly Procurement reporting What you will bring: An experienced supplier risk management practitioner, with an outstanding track record of delivering procurement risk management in Financial Services Ability to work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations Ability to apply functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex situations and guide others in resolving complex problems Ability to impact the achievement of operational or project objectives Outstanding communicator with a strong Exec/senior level business partnering skillset Can lead and influence cross-functional collaborative working methods Has a delivery mindset, shows an ability to lead projects and/or a portfolio of work between themselves and the direct report Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Strong operational and change management skill set. Must have the ability to influence leadership but also work through operational tasks and ‘get stuck in’. Must be able to manage multiple workloads, conflict, and complexity under pressure - possessing the ability to translate complex issues into a simple, straightforward manner.
