You will work closely with our Consultant Paediatrician to deliver high-quality, child-friendly blood collection services at our modern North London clinic. The ideal candidate will be confident, compassionate, and skilled in taking blood samples from infants, children, and teenagers. Key Responsibilities: • Perform venepuncture and blood draws on paediatric patients of all ages, ensuring a calm and reassuring environment. • Work alongside the Consultant Paediatrician during clinics to support diagnostic pathways. • Handle, label, and prepare specimens accurately in line with clinical governance and safety standards. • Ensure excellent patient care and communication with children and families. Requirements: • Qualified Phlebotomist with proven experience in paediatric blood draws. • Confident and competent in working with young patients, including those who are anxious or uncooperative. • Up-to-date training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Infection Control. • Professional, friendly, and able to work independently or as part of a team. • Current enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
