Job Title: Facilities EngineerJoin our team at Greencore, a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK, dedicated to making everyday taste better. We employ 13,300 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots nationwide, supplying a wide range of food products to all UK food retailers. Our Manton Wood site has around 1,700 colleagues and features amenities such as a gym, restaurant, and staff shop. We produce sandwiches and wraps for major UK retailers including Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi, and Lidl. What You'll Be DoingAs a Facilities Engineer, you will be part of a team of 4 engineers reporting to the Facilities Managers. Your role will involve ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site through: Completing planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment, including steam boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration, and effluent plants Fault finding to establish root causes and implementing fixes Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, safe systems of work, and legislative requirements Shift PatternThis role operates on a Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday schedule, from 7:00 to 15:00.
