The company is looking to appoint a Production Shift Manager due to an upcoming retirement. The role suits a Shift Manager experienced in managing production teams, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a strong health and safety focus. The company operates across various manufacturing sectors and offers a secure environment with opportunities to break into new markets. Role & Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the assigned shift. Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Lead, mentor, and develop the production team. Manage staffing levels, including planning for absences and overtime. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring safety procedures are followed. Address and resolve quality issues promptly. Implement Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement methodologies. Monitor KPIs and drive initiatives to enhance performance. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Background in production shift management. Experience in FMCG or plastics industries is advantageous. Proven experience managing production teams.
