Join Our Team as a Family Peer SupporterAre you passionate about supporting breastfeeding and promoting health and wellbeing for families in your community? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly and innovative team within the County Durham Family Hub development. This role involves working as part of the 0-19 (25) Family Health Service, based within the Infant Feeding Team, in partnership with County Durham Family Hubs. The position primarily covers the South of County Durham, with some support into the North and East, offering a countywide service. It is an NHS Band 3 fixed-term role until March 2026. Role ResponsibilitiesProviding high-quality information and support to children and families in various settings (home, community, Family Hubs, clinics). Following training, working under supervision to undertake tasks and group sessions. Offering low-level breastfeeding support, fostering infant-parent relationships, and promoting family health and wellbeing.
