We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Paediatric Dental Consultant to join Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The position involves sessions within community clinics in Solihull and at Birmingham Dental Hospital, with close collaboration with the University of Birmingham School of Dentistry.Qualifications and ExperienceCandidates expecting to complete a SAC-approved post-CCT 2-year Fixed Term Training Appointment within 6 months of the interview date.Candidates who have obtained the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship in Paediatric Dentistry.Applications are also invited from those who have already completed training or are currently in a consultant post.Role ResponsibilitiesJoin a passionate team to develop and deliver specialist paediatric dentistry across Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, and Birmingham.Participate in general anaesthesia services where facilities are available.Engage in teaching undergraduate dental and dental therapy students, as well as postgraduate trainees in paediatric dentistry.Support the development of dentists and DCPs within the CDS to enhance skills in paediatric dentistry.About Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust With over 5,000 staff, BCHC offers a wide range of community nursing and healthcare services across Birmingham and the West Midlands, including services for children, young people, families, and adults.
