A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Control Room Team Leader to join our high-quality, modern control room located at British Airways Engineering Base (Heathrow Airport). Your role will be to ensure a safe and secure environment, leaving a lasting positive impression on all on site, in line with our customers' expectations. Information: Location: Heathrow Airport Pay Rate: £15.86 per hour Shifts: Days & Nights Job Requirements: Lead a team of CCTV operators SIA CCTV Licence required Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook Excellent written communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the local area and Heathrow Airport is desirable but not essential High levels of customer service Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure Smart appearance in line with company values Good organisational skills, flexibility, and reliability Awareness of CCTV policies and data protection requirements Job Responsibilities: Ensure all duties comply with site policies and procedures Respond to incidents, take ownership, and escalate as needed Maintain good relationships with CCTV team members Communicate effectively with the Duty Operations Manager and escalate issues Perform tasks as directed by management Manage access control requests via Intercom Maintain incident logs and record keeping Report faults and escalate priority issues Handle emergency calls and inform the Duty Operations Manager Ensure professional behaviour and site efficiency Manage staff duty bookings and report absences Escalate security incidents with detailed information Work independently and proactively, supporting the security team Support operational tasks such as alarm activations and incident management Conduct thorough handovers between shifts Maintain confidentiality and security of the service provided Our market-leading flexible benefits scheme includes: Virtual GP services for you and your household Financial wellbeing support via Salary Finance Customisable benefits through our Choices platform, including dental insurance, dining cards, and technology discounts Access to high street discounts, gym memberships, and cycle-to-work schemes Life cover, save-as-you-earn schemes, and share plans Recognition awards such as Mitie Stars with cash prizes We value our employees' experience and offer diverse training and development opportunities to support your career growth.#J-18808-Ljbffr
