Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity to appoint a Part-Time Finance Manager.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role at a purpose-driven charity that transforms hospital experiences so no child faces hospital alone. We believe thatno child should face hospital alone.Every day, 500 seriously ill children and their families face potentially life-changing hospital visits. They inspire us to make those visits as positive as possible. Our work is shaped by their feedback and needs. The RoleThis role is responsible for managing the charity’s financial operations daily and ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and controls. It offers a great opportunity to manage the grants program, drive continuous improvement in financial strategy, and line manage a team. More specifically, you will be: Managing the day-to-day financial operations, including preparing monthly management accounts, leading annual audits, and managing the budgeting process. Identifying opportunities to develop this impactful role supporting vulnerable children and families, ensuring that no child faces hospital alone. Supporting the distribution of funds to deliver life-changing projects for children and young people at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, with a team of dedicated staff and trustees.
