You will operate as part of a targeted Family Help Service within the Amber Valley Locality. You will be responsible for supporting the Family Help Senior Practitioner in the efficient and effective delivery of the 0-5 Family Help service, demonstrating and championing evidence-based practice. Your principal roles will include: Compiling action plans with measurable targets to coordinate support for families working with various partner agencies. Tracking the individual progress of children and cohorts, measuring development and school readiness. Delivering specific intervention programs such as the Every Child a Talker (EcaT) program, targeted at children at risk of developmental delay. Providing parenting support through programs like the Solihull approach and understanding your child. Offering advice and signposting to parents/carers. Maintaining clear, accurate records on the council’s recording systems. Completing report writing and key documents such as safeguarding case conference reports to aid in evidence gathering and decision-making for child safety.
