Due to rapid growth—both organic and through acquisition—we are seeking a technically strong Corporate Finance & Reporting Manager to join our finance team (comprising 10 members) based in Plymouth. Reporting to the CFO, this role requires a qualified accountant to lead reporting and budgeting for the overall business and oversee financial aspects of our acquisition program. This includes producing management accounts for acquired entities before full integration. While the role initially has no direct reports, matrix and project management skills are essential. We anticipate significant growth and are looking for an individual who can eventually build and motivate a small team. Experience in corporate finance is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The role is suitable for a practice accountant seeking to broaden their industry experience or an industry accountant interested in corporate finance. The key responsibilities include: Working with the CFO and Financial Controller to deliver professional financial board reports, including extracting data from Netsuite and presenting key trends and insights in PowerPoint. Maintaining and updating the group’s long-term Excel financial model on a monthly basis. Supporting cash flow forecasting and treasury management, both short-term and long-term. Playing a key role in the annual budgeting process. Supporting financial aspects of acquisitions, including: Financial evaluation and valuation of targets Preparing business cases and investment papers Conducting detailed due diligence Evaluating sources and uses of funds Setting up acquired companies on Netsuite and producing management accounts Integrating financial records post-acquisition Additional responsibilities include: Supporting the Financial Controller with management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations as needed. Liaising with year-end accountants and auditors. Providing support across the finance function in a growing business.
