The role is based at our head office in Oldbury, with remote working options available.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced Salesforce solutions.Utilise declarative functionalities (flows, approvals, assignment rules, formula fields, custom fields, record types, page layouts, AppExchange plug-ins) to implement system enhancements.Collaborate with third-party and internal development teams to implement custom functionalities.Pursue ongoing professional development in Salesforce certifications and skills.Transfer knowledge of new functionalities to senior managers for dissemination to relevant users.Additional ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain reporting and dashboard suites.Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions, collaborating with third-party developers as needed.Act as an escalation point for second-line support questions.Transfer knowledge to users requiring admin permissions.Conduct internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.Manage full project lifecycle from requirements to delivery.Propose system improvements based on user needs to Salesforce leadership and senior management.Implement system developments involving declarative and custom functionalities.Support end-user understanding and use of Salesforce platform.This role involves some national travel.QualificationsADM 201 certifiedPlatform App Builder certificationExperience with Mulesoft and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) is beneficial but not essential.Additional Information Benefits include:Holiday tradingEnhanced maternity and paternity packagesFree life assurance (4x salary) upon joining the pension schemeFree onsite parkingHealth kiosks at all locationsVitality at WorkDiscounted shopping with retailers, including up to 5% off supermarketsMilestone days off for celebrationsFree eye tests and support for glasses for screen usersJoining DPD offers more than stability; it’s a career with growth and development opportunities.
