Your role involves ensuring products move from design to retail, working closely with stakeholders, overseas manufacturers, and customers to meet or exceed expectations regarding compliance, quality, packaging, sustainability, delivery, and performance. Experience with bedding/textiles industry, liaising with overseas suppliers in the Far East, GOLD SEAL standards, critical path management, and product sampling is required. Reporting LinesThis role reports to the Product & Quality Manager and collaborates with other Product Technologists and the Commercial team. ResponsibilitiesParticipate in pre-production handover meetings to ensure product compliance and readiness for bulk manufacture. Lead weekly PDS meetings. Develop and manage product, imagery, and packaging specifications using systems like PIM and tools like Illustrator. Maintain a detailed critical path to ensure timely product launches, including fabric, sampling, and packaging approvals. Lead weekly critical path meetings. Oversee sample sealing, fabric checks, testing reports, and Gold Seal samples for compliance. Communicate approvals/rejections to suppliers and provide updates to stakeholders. Monitor supplier KPIs for sampling, testing, and inspection deadlines. Manage daily communications with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Evaluate and approve pre-shipment inspection reports in collaboration with overseas teams. Skills and ExperienceExperience in textiles, online brands, GOLD SEAL samples, critical path management, and overseas suppliers. Proactive team player with strong communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and decision-making confidence. Interest in continuous improvement and industry growth. Ability to see the bigger picture and problem solve. Excellent communication skills for various formats and audiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Previous experience in home textiles is essential.
