We’re looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Producer Responsibility team to help deliver the Government’s Resources and Waste Strategy. You’ll work with Environment Agency colleagues, Defra, UK devolved administrations, and Industry to deliver significant legislative reforms. You can make a difference. You’ll need to be adaptable, self-motivated, and able to translate policy into action. Your responsibilities will include: Working closely with stakeholders across government, industry, and the Environment Agency to influence and implement legislation for workstreams including Packaging and Deposit Return Scheme, with support to other workstreams as needed. Providing technical advice within the Environment Agency and to industry. Driving reforms to waste management in England, working with like-minded colleagues to shape digital systems and policy. We are a dispersed team, working across the country with the aid of smart tools to stay connected. Some travel and overnight stays may be required. The Team You’ll join our Producer Responsibility Team, which leads waste regulation reforms to help conserve resources by minimizing waste.
