Will help build pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and customer insight across Asda Money and Mobile. A key focus of the role will be the ingestion and integration of CRM data from multiple sources, ensuring a unified, accurate, and accessible view of customer data that supports marketing, personalisation, and operational decision-making. You’ll collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and third-party vendors to build scalable pipelines using modern cloud tooling and drive innovation in how we manage and deliver data across the organisation. What you'll do: •Develop robust, scalable data pipelines to ingest and transform CRM data from internal and external systems, including financial services and mobile platforms. •Work closely with CRM, marketing, digital, and commercial teams to understand customer data requirements and deliver usable, well-structured data assets. •Partner with third-party vendors and data providers to integrate external datasets into our data platform, ensuring reliability and quality. •Build and maintain data solutions using Databricks, Azure ADF and Blob Storage, ensuring performance, scalability, and reusability. •Automate workflows and recurring data processes using tools such as Python scripts. •Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to make curated data sets accessible via Databricks or Power BI. •Apply best practices in data governance, data quality, and secure data handling, especially around personally identifiable information (PII). •Support data platform development with a focus on self-service, reusability, and consistency across Asda Money & Mobile. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: •Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Databricks, Azure ADF and Blob Storage, or similar distributed processing frameworks. •Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimisation. •Proficient in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation. •Knowledge of CRM platforms and customer data architecture (e.g., Salesforce) is highly desirable. •Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including data lakes and warehouse components. •Comfortable working with a wide-ranging third-party data format or integrations, possibly including APIs. •Strong collaboration and communication skills — able to work across data, digital, and commercial functions.
