Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative with a C1 Licence to join Bradford Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract.Help keep our streets clean and our communities running smoothly. We’re looking for a dedicated Bin Maintenance Operative to join our environmental services team. This is a practical, hands-on role that combines street bin repairs, maintenance and servicing, with driving responsibilities requiring a 7.5 tonne (C1) licence.Key Responsibilities:*Inspect, clean, repair, and replace public litter bins across the borough*Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to transport bins and materials to and from depots*Conduct routine maintenance checks and report defects*Work outdoors in all weather conditions*Ensure all tasks are completed in line with health and safety standardsRequirements:*Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5 tonne)*Good practical/DIY skills and a proactive, can-do attitude*Experience in a similar maintenance or waste services role is desirable*Ability to work independently and as part of a wider street scene teamHours - 8am to 4pm, Monday to FridayPlease apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible if this role would be of interest to you...
