Job Description

We are working with a leading food production company with a wide range of branded and own-label products, partnering with major retailers and food service outlets across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. The Role: You will be responsible for the management and performance of several Broiler farms, supporting Farm Managers and Relief Managers to meet operational targets and maintain the highest standards of welfare and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Oversee production and performance across allocated farms. Support and guide Farm Managers to meet KPIs in productivity, welfare, and biosecurity as well as ensuring quality, safety, and compliance at all times. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to optimise flock health and performance. Report to the Regional Manager on all aspects of husbandry and stock performance. Lead and manage farm teams, coordinate daily operations, motivate, coach, and develop staff. Work alongside HR on people matters. Provide on-call support for your allocated farms and assist others as needed. Maintain full compliance with animal welfare and health & safety standards. What You Will Need: Proven experience in a similar agricultural or poultry management role. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Solid leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop teams. In-depth knowledge of poultry welfare, health & safety, and biosecurity. Full UK driving licence (travel between farms is essential). Desirable: Experience within large-scale farming or agri-business. Familiarity with HR processes and best practices in staff management.
