We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options to work as few as 12 hours. Role OverviewAs a Tesco Customer Delivery Driver, you'll deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, engaging with customers in their homes daily. The role involves more than driving; it’s about providing excellent service with a smile, helping customers, and managing a dynamic, physical workload. You’ll work independently most of the time but have support from your team back at the store. AvailabilityThe preferred working hours are: Monday: 19:00 - 23:00 Tuesday: 19:00 - 23:00 Thursday: 13:00 - 23:00 Friday: 19:00 - 23:00 Saturday: 19:00 - 23:00 We are flexible if your availability is close to these times. ResponsibilitiesEnsure the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organized. Leave the delivery area clean and pick up litter. Wash trays as required. Load the van and check its roadworthiness. Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds. Handle products with care, ensuring customer satisfaction. Deliver within the scheduled time slot, calling ahead if early or late. RequirementsBuild positive relationships with colleagues and customers. Be welcoming and responsive to customer needs. Adapt quickly to changing customer requirements and store policies. Be energetic and motivated to exceed expectations. Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
