You will provide frontline care and management of patients presenting with undifferentiated minor injuries and ailments, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.Our Minor Injuries Units are located across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, welcoming you into the team.We are accepting applications from qualified clinical professionals, including nurses and paramedics.We offer a range of shifts covering days and weekends, with standard shifts lasting 7.5 to 12.5 hours. Shift times may be negotiable.Your responsibilities include:Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with minor injuries and illnesses such as lacerations, sprains, fractures, bites, infected wounds, head injuries, eye problems, sports injuries, minor burns, and scalds. Performing wound closure and minor joint and fracture reduction. Requesting radiological investigations within protocols. Educating patients and families about injury prevention and post-treatment care. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care. Maintaining accurate patient records.
