A fantastic opportunity has come up for a General Manager to work with a fast-growing packaging company with over 20 years of experience in the packaging machinery and consumers industry. My client offers environmentally friendly packaging to a wide range of services into markets such as food service, supermarkets, industrial and fresh produce.General Manager Sector: Packaging & Machinery Location: Peterborough & Gainsborough Package: Attractive salary (circa £100k) plus bonus/OTE (up to £16,000 – 20,000k) 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays 4% pension, hybrid car which can be discussed, flexible salary, free parking, 20% bonus.The General Manager Reporting to the Managing Director you will have responsibility including full P&L autonomy but also be expected to help focus the sales effort. You will assume full control of a c£15-30 million turnover site which carries 30-40 staff spanning sales/service, warehousing, purchasing & logistics. Already a profitable site that runs efficiently, you shall leverage all of your leadership and management expertise to build on this success and meet with commercial targets.
