We are professionals with purpose, and we need someone talented and determined to join our team.Role overview We’re looking for an inspiring superstore supervisor to join our trading team in the homeware department. You will act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, supporting the management team to maximize sales and fundraising. Your store will be a community hub where people learn about our work and support our cause.Key responsibilitiesManaging the commercial operations of the homeware department, including display, merchandising, stock management, shop standards, layout, sales, and income.Collaborating with the management team to meet targets for donated stock, cash, gift aid, sales price, sell-through, and stock processing.Leading by example and delivering excellent customer and supporter service.Supporting the organization and delivery of fundraising events.Deputizing for management, supervising colleagues and volunteers, assisting with training, and handling keyholder responsibilities.Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.Candidate requirementsExperience supervising and motivating a diverse team.Ability to thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced customer-facing environment.Strong relationship-building and communication skills.Commercial awareness and adaptability.Creativity, initiative, and leadership abilities.Flexibility to work on a rota basis, respecting work-life balance.Benefits We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, career development opportunities, and support tools.
