The team focuses on improving support operations, formalising rules, and implementing efficient processes and systems. The role involves delivering procurement and contract management activities, developing sourcing strategies, engaging with markets, supporting approval processes, and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships. ResponsibilitiesDevelop sourcing strategies with stakeholders Engage in preliminary market engagement Support approvals and business case processes Deliver procurement activities Implement contracts and liaise with suppliers Maintain customer and supplier relationships Manage contractual documentation and administration Person SpecificationLooking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, capable of engaging effectively with key collaborators and leading a diverse team. Commercial experience across sourcing, procurement, and contract management is essential. Essential CriteriaStudying towards or willing to complete CIPS Level 4 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Stakeholder relationship management experience Willingness to travel occasionally Ability to work at nominated locations for 60% of the time Behaviours and SkillsAssessment during the process will focus on Leadership, Communicating and Influencing, Delivering at Pace, along with technical skills in sourcing and contract performance management. Additional InformationThe role offers a salary of £44,590 plus a Civil Service pension contribution of £12,917, along with flexible working practices, leave benefits, and inclusion initiatives. The position does not include relocation expenses and requires security clearance.
